Arlington is situated in the Stillaguamish Valley, at the junction of the North and South Forks of the Stillaguamish River, at the base of the Cascade Range.

Arlington is easily accessible via Interstate 5, Washington State Route 530 and 531, and Washington State Route 9.

Arlington’s population is approximately 15,000. As of the 2000 Census the median age of residents is 32 and the median household was $46,302.
