The Building Division provides permitting, plan review and inspection services to ensure that buildings are safe for the citizens of Arlington.

The Building Division staff, under the direction of the Building Official, consists of plans examiners and inspectors.  The Building Division reviews, issues and inspects Building, Mechanical, Plumbing, Sign and Demolition permits.

In addition, the staff of the Building Division is part of the City’s emergency operations team providing post event evaluations of buildings to determine if they are safe.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions concerning building permits or building construction issues.
