Renewals

Renewal Timeline

Licenses are renewed annually. Renewal notices are mailed to businesses in late April - early May and payment is due upon receipt or no later than June 30th. The "business license year" runs July 1 through June 30.

Renewals serve two purposes.  The first is as an invoice and the second is to update your information on file with us.  Information such as emergency contacts are provided to the Arlington Police as well as the Arlington Fire Department.  The Fire Department also uses information we collect for their inspections.  The Fire Inspector will ask you to show him/her your business license at the time of inspection.

Renewal Fee

The renewal fee is $60.

We do not issue new licenses each year. We send you a sticker for the year you are renewing that is placed on the license you have.

Licenses must be displayed on a wall in your business.
