2009 Adopted Budget


Executive Summary

            This summarizes, or explains the 2009 budget.

 

Current Expense

The Current Expense Fund is the general operating fund of the city.  It accounts for all financial resources and transactions except those required to be accounted for in another fund.

 

Capital Funds

These funds account for financial resources, which are designated for the acquisition or construction of general government capital projects.

 

Debt Funds

These funds account for financial resources which are designated for the retirement of debt.

 

Reserve Funds

            Funds available to the city for large projects, major purchases and cases of emergency.

 

Revenues

Incoming money from utilities, traffic tickets, taxes, etc.

 

Maintenance and Operations

These are the costs to maintain and operate your city.


Long Term Goals
            These are set by the City Council to help guide future council decisions and determine the
            progress of the organization.
