Arlington Boards and Commission
Citizen advisory committees are extremely important to the City of Arlington. Residents of the City volunteer to serve a designated term on a commission, board or committee and are instrumental in recommending policies and procedures to the Council. Those actively involved through this process significantly impact the operation of the City and our future. If you are interested in serving on a Board or Commission, please call 360.403.3441.
Board & Commission Vacancies
The City of Arlington is looking for a volunteer to fill a current vacancy on the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission is an advisory board to the Council charged with helping develop the City’s plans and development regulations. Additionally, the Planning Commission acts as the City’s Design Review Board, reviewing development projects for consistency with the City’s design guidelines.
The Planning Commission meets in the Council Chambers at 110 East Third Street at 7:00 pm on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday unless there is a Monday holiday, in which case the meetings are moved to the following Thursday.
